Three kinds of regulatory signal
Approval means a marketing application was reviewed and authorised for defined uses. A warning letter, import alert, or safety communication means an agency has identified a problem. Silence usually means the product has never been submitted for review at all.
Consumer messaging often treats the third case as neutral or favourable. It is simply an absence of assessment.

Approval databases, prescribing information, and published agency communications are the primary record. Retailer claims, forum summaries, and secondary blogs are not, and frequently misstate status.
